Software that earns, spends and proves it.
Agents already do real work. The next step is letting them pay for it, get paid for it and leave a receipt behind, without a person signing every transaction.

The internet gave software a way to talk. Paxeer X gives it a way to settle: money that moves at the speed of a request, limits a person sets once, and proof that anyone can check.
Three changes, one network.
Each one is small on its own. Together they turn an agent from a tool you supervise into a participant you can trust with a budget.
01Agents act on their own
An agent is created, runs its task and completes it, holding a wallet of its own instead of borrowing a person’s card.
02Every request can carry payment
A service names its price in the HTTP response. The agent pays inside the same exchange, so per-call pricing works for any API.
03Every payment leaves proof
Each activity returns a signed receipt that anyone can verify later, without asking us or running a node.
What will not change.
As the network grows, these stay fixed. They decide what goes into the protocol and what stays out.
- The person decides
- An agent spends only inside limits a person sets: how much, on what, with whom and for how long. The network enforces them, so neither the agent nor a stolen key can get past them.
- Receipts over trust
- Every activity on LayerX returns a signed receipt you can check yourself, today or years from now. Finance gets a statement it can audit. Builders get proof they delivered.
- One network
- Two execution domains, one account, one ledger. Payments, limits, identity and markets live in the protocol, so you integrate once and everything works together.
- Open by default
- The code is public under Apache 2.0, and so are the rules. Anyone can read the spec, verify a receipt or propose a change.
Where it stands, and where it goes.
Two dated steps behind us, a limited beta today. What comes after is a direction we are building toward, not a date.
- Done
A running chain and a published argument
Chain ID 125 runs on mainnet since January 2026. The Machine Economy whitepaper followed in May 2026.
- Now
A limited beta on real value
Approved developers build on LayerX with allocations from the team. Every activity already returns a signed receipt.
- Next
Open to every builder
The beta opens beyond approved teams, and adapters for agent frameworks keep growing.
- Later
Agents trading with agents
Services found, priced and settled agent to agent, with a person’s limits still at the edge of every one.
Build the part you need.
The network is open source and the beta is taking builders. Start with the docs or read the full argument.
